Adult Recreational Sliding

Just for the grown ups! Are you the parent of a luge kid and want to join in the fun? Maybe you just watched the Olympics and said “I gotta try this!”. Maybe your a former luge athlete that just wants to get back on a sled for fun…..

Whatever your motivation, this program is built for you. Adult recreational sliding is typically held on Saturday evenings during the winter season. If you are new to the sport you must participate in one of our Adult Beginner Luge Sessions prior to joining our regular sessions.

The Adult Beginner Luge sessions require pre-registration and have a limited number of spots available. We operate on a first come, first served basis, so please register early. The cost of the program is $90 and includes track fees, equipment usage, coaching and a 1 year membership to the Club.

2025/2026 Beginner Luge Sessions:

January 17 6:30-8:30 pm SOLD OUT

January 24 6:30-8:30 pm SOLD OUT

February 7 6:30-8:30 pm SOLD OUT

*Please note that the session times are “on-ice” times. You will need to arrive approximately 1 hour prior to the “on-ice” time to complete your paperwork, pay our fees and get your equipment.

The Adult Beginner Luge consists of 4 runs down the lower portion of the track. The first two runs start from Curve 12, then participants move up the track to Curve 11 (commonly called the Tourist start) for their final runs. This gives participants the opportunity to experience the bottom 4 curves on the Park City track or 25% of the luge course.
